So as it turns out, that concrete block put a dent in the barrel of my right rear wheel in addition to destroying the front. It still held air though, but running it is too risky imo. I ended up getting a replacement wheel from Trackspec at 50% off and finally got around to getting 2X new tires mounted.

I decided not to reuse the right rear tire since it also had 2 nails stuck in it (probably from the shoulder of RT.55), but I'm gonna keep it around as a spare. I'm also trying to get Tirerack to approve 2 road hazard claims. If they both get approved, then the net cost of the incident will only be $400 which ain't bad.
Finally got around to making a longer vid of the last event. I get a ridealong in Brian's LT1 Caprice.
Aiming to be back on track by late April or early May. I have a bunch of small projects and maintenance to do on the car, but there's a lot so it will likely take a while. Off the top of my head...
-Replace clunky LCA rod end
-Swap optis and new plugs
-Caliper crossover tube and caliper dust boot replacement
-Fluid flushes for oil, trans, and diff
-Make my seat bracket more rigid
-Fab brake ducts
-Find the source of my interior water leak (for the 5th time)
Trying to branch out and hit more new tracks this year as I'm totally burnt out on NJMP. I'm thinking Lime Rock, Summit Point (so I can bench race my car against Strano's lmao), maybe Dominion and Pineview. I really wanna go back to Watkins Glen though and see if I can pull a sub 2:10 with these tires. I'm also eyeing a time trial event at the Pocono mega course in July which should be fun.Last edited by Catmaigne; 02-25-2025 at 06:36 PM.

Awesome, Thanks for sharing. The 9C1 boat was awesome too. You didn't mention where the mystery water leak was. My wife's '94 Z developed a leak that was finally tracked down the firewall bulkhead connector not being caulked completely from the factory. The water was getting in and leaking UNDER the carpet from the firewall back through a wiring channel to the driver side rear floorpan. When enough got back there, it would soak through the carpet and create a mystery puddle of water in the floorboard.

Hahaha I know the exact connector you're talking about. I gooped it with RTV a couple years ago but didn't really do a good job so I'll have to check it again. I've been fighting leaks on the DS floor for years with this car.
Tbh I think the leak might be from my replacement Safelite windshield. There's a 1/4" gap at the top of it almost like they installed the thing too low. I wouldn't be surprised if water was pooling in there, freezing over the winter, and getting in through small cracks in the RTV.96Z M6, ERE-383 #60, AFR 210s, LE cam, 9", Procharger D1, ???whp
