This is what I run on my set up. You do need a non restrictive exhaust for it to work properly. Only thing you need to get used to is the whistle.
They are not to be used with mufflers, what I say free flowing exhaust is like my set up. It is a sweet thunder which is almost a non existant muffler. This is the same type used in the gmmg exhaust. I run one and dumped.
You will see increased vac on engine and it works like a champ.Last edited by JPack; 01-23-2016 at 11:27 AM.

I spoke with the machine shop and they didn't provide the parts, they only assembled and machined the shortblock. As far as they know, the rings used were the rings used came with the pistons. This is the kit used...http://www.summitracing.com/parts/uem-ic717ktd-030 the original owner also had the pistons, skirts, and all bearings coated by Polydyn in Houston. Top Ring Material: Ductile iron, Top Ring Facing Material: Plasma-moly, Second Ring Material: Iron, Second Ring Facing Material: Cast iron, Oil Ring Material: Stainless steel. Because the original owner of the shortblock had the build done in stages over a 2 year period the machine shop can't find what the exact grit was done on the final hone. I spoke with one of the guys that has worked there for 20 yrs who is also a friend of mine. He also thinks that the motor just needs more time to break in. I'm going to pick up the car tomorrow to put a few hundred miles on it and install a MM PCV can. After that I'll bring it back for a final tune and see what it does.
