    Default Gadget Reviews

Figured I'd make a spot to review gadgets. Serious to "as seen on tv" gadgets. If u have taken a chance on a gadget... write up how it was and if u would suggest it for others.

    Ill start (of course).

So with the Trans am having a tape deck with disk changer in it, I wanted to listen to my sirus... but till i figure out what I wanna do... i saw this on ebay. 15 bucks... amd if works awesome. Sync'd my phone up to it and it works perfectly... even runs gps and phone calls through the car speakers while pausing my music when calls or instructions come in. Straight from China...and cheap and yet it works perfectly. If ur lookin for a bkue tooth set up for ur older ride... i totally suggest this. Even has a remote!

I've seen a similar product in rickscamaro mags. Does this thing plug into the back of the radio?

Nah... plugs right into the lighter socket. Then u scroll it to a radio station that is normally static... set the car radio to the same channel... then blue tooth sync ur electronic device (in my case its my cell) and once they are syncd... everything comes thru the car speakers.

The inlaws got me a selfie stick. Oh yeah... im that guy now.

Seriously tho... with my long arms and its ability to extend 40" with a remote that controls zoom and taking the pic... ill have some fun with this.

The stairewell was the only place inside that i could stretch out with it to test it out...

...however, when i went outside i learned that i could even check the gutters that normally would require a ladder and a whole lot of work.

Click it to video and walk around amd i can inspect it and other things out of my reach.

Honestly tho... cant wait till big car events or other misc events where i can take pics from above the rest.

Ohhhh... panoramic should be cool from height as well!!!!!

I bought dashboss which is a device that plugs into your odb2 sensor and sends data via bluetooth to a free app that you run on your phone. I got it because my tow vehicle doesn't have a built in trans temp gauge and I use it at my tow vehicle. I know the 4L70E isn't the best GM transmission, so I wanted to be able to keep and eye on it. The app it a little flakey, dies from time to time, but the data is invaluable. Recently discovered that my coolant was running at 228 degrees on a hot day, but my dash temp gauge was smack in the middle. (I know what the problem is, but that is for another thread) I would recommend it for a vehicle that you don't want to add gauges and pillar pods to.
