Default Waste of a clean 97ss

Why would you hack up a rare car with 26k miles on it to make a drag car . Sometimes I just don't understand people. If your replacing everything anyway, why not start with a higher mileage plain z28?

These are cheap, old, muscle cars... no matter how much you want em to, they aren't gonna be valuable to anyone but someone in the car scene.

Be happy it wasn't riced to all hell and back.

Have you seen what they are going for on eBay? Cars with that low of mileage are going for around $20k. I would consider that valuable, but I'm not rich either lol.

Resale value of an SS is on par with a regular Z28 therefore it is no considered really all that rare unless you find the ever dwindling group who care about a LT1 SS.

I believe our LT cars will be worth something..... one day. Hell the second gen cars are just now coming into their own. Maybe when our grandkids are our age these cars will be worth what they cost when they were new.

That's true... Still hate to see ANY low mileage car cut up to make a drag car. Just doesn't make sense to me.

It's no different than these guys buying a car off the showroom and making a 1000+ HP roll racer. One day a few of these cars will be worth money but now most are fair game to do as you please. I know we love these car but they're nothing special.
