LT1 questions

looking for a engine for my 95 firebird, found a 95 roadmaster wagon the other day with an lt1. my question is the heads on the roadmasters aluminum or iron and do some of the roadmasters come with the L99 4.3l engine instead of the lt1 i need. If they do come with the L99 in them how can i tell the diffrence between that and the lt1.

Im pretty sure all the wagons got the 5.7 LT1 but the heads are Iron.

do the iron heads run lower comp, make any less power what are the pros cons of iron vs aluminum heads on the lt1
