They originally did their own, then LLoyd did them. The point I was making is that there are lots of other guys out there. LTx heads are SBC heads, we just run a different intake manifold. Go look at any LTx car in Stock Eliminator, and you probably won't find AI or LE stuff. Lots of reputable head porters can get the job done, but somehow most people only think of those 2 companies are around for us.
From Golens site:
Golen Engine Service now offers CNC porting for both LT and LS heads. CNC porting offers consistency and uniformity without the time consuming and expensive process of hand porting. Add one of GES's rock solid short blocks and your performance engine building project will start with a strong, reliable foundation that will give you exceptional performance.Last edited by joelster; 06-11-2009 at 11:59 AM.

I didnt think any real port work was allowed is Stock Eliminator? Just some gasket matching and valve work?
Yes there are other companies that do great port work, Look at Larry's heads. His car flies and has locally ported stockers w/ an LE cam.

The Golen heads are done by Competition CNC. Has anyone had any experience with TEA? The #'s one their heads look good and they've been around for a while now. $1800 for a well ported aftermarket casting isn't bad at all.
