    Yes thats weather stripping to seal the airbox to the hood, comes from the factory that way.
    my bad. thanks for clearing that up. i thought it was a 3.5 for some reason.

    Yea my firehawk airbox has hardly any louvers from the factory

    just to clarify. i didn't get a MAF (not that i'd need one, i think the 95 stock MAF is the same as the 96-97 WS6 MAF) i got the rubber bellow that goes between the MAF and TB. I still can't believe GM wants $160 for that piece of rubber w/ a clamp on each end. i might have gone the Femco route as well but since i got the oem piece with my box i'm gonna stick with that.

    Yeah I know what you meant, I went yesterday and found the stuff that I needed. I think my total was 12.xx something. I'm not sure if the thing I got to connect the MAF to the air box is the right thing but I'm going to at least try it.
