Fixing my A/C
Well yesterday I tore into it, and pulled everything out.
So today I am gonna put everything back in there.
So I am thinking of putting alcohol in the system to clean everything out, then putting the oil in the compressor.
Anybody know which oil works the best on these compressors?
I was thinking PAG, but I cant remember.
Anybody got any tips for these F-body systems? This is my first modern A/C job, I did the A/C in my Impala, but never on a new car let alone a LT1
So next week once I get this thing back together, Im gonna take it to Pepboys and have them charge it and what not.
Cant wait to feel the cool crisp air in my face instead of the 100% humid 90 degree South Texas soup they call air97 Trans Am WS6, LT1 factory 4bolt freak, M6,
