    Default Backfiring throught intake?

    Car will not start AGAIN.
it sounds like it want's to start and when it does fire it pops and smokes out of the filter.

    What could cause this?
    the opti is brand new.

The intake valve not sealing properly could cause that, did you adjust the valvelash recently (maybe too tight), but it sounds more like a timing issue to me.
    Yep its slow.

When you put the new opti in did you put the pin on the back in the right spot?

mine did it when the ICM took a poop as well as the opti. Check the stuff that is simple like the ICM, Coil and that you indexed the opti correctly during installation.

Car ran good for about 300 miles after opti install. I'll check coil and icm tonight.
