Hypothetical cam question
Okay, here is my situation, I will be installing a comp cams 230/236 (.544/.555 w/1.6 rockers) @ 112 lsa cam with comp R hydraulic lifters, comp hardened stock length (7.2") pushrods, Crane gold aluminum 1.6 SA rockers and comp 918 beehive springs. I will also be using a set of ported stock aluminum heads with new stock valves that have NOT been milled, just lightly ported for this camshaft. The bottom end is also bone stock (only 40k miles).
The problem: I will be doing all of this work pretty far away from home because I will have access to a lift and an entire shop. Can I expect any Piston to valve clearance issues? ??? I know how to check for the PTV clearance, but I would like to know if I can expect to run into problems so that I can plan accordingly. Thanks for reading all of this.

You should be fine, i run the cc306 (more duration and higher lift) on a stock bottom end with chromemoly 7.2 pushrods, pro mag 1.6 SAs, LS7 lifters, and the crane 10308 spring kit and stock heads

I think youll be fine. I had mine milled .030 and Im using Mr Gasket 5716 head gaskets wich are thinner than ours. LE did not say i had to worry about anything like that. Different set up but a 230/236 .565/.565 108 cam 1.6 pro mags, tf guide plates and patriot gold springs.
You should be fine.

Yeah mine will be on the stock bottom end for now.
I also have a ported LE3 intake to go with the LE2 heads and im gonig to have it dyno tuned at speedinc.
I know I would love to compare similar set ups.
Most of the ones I know about are making around 400-410rwhp. with the old LE2 cam threw big rearends. So Im praying with all the suporting mods Ill make the same or a bit more.(wishfull thinking).
