    Default Wish me good luck...

Its snowing like a mofo outside. First time Ive seen real snow in probably 5 years.
My yard has trees all around it and Im hoping none of the branches decide to fall onto one of the cars.
It was raining this morning and all last night and is getting down to 26 so we gonna get some ice tonight.

Yeah, but I dont think the south is prepared for something like this like the northern states are. Our cable already went out and now the internet and power is coming and going.
Im gonna stay indoors, to slushy to have fun outside. Main thing In worried about is those damn pine trees.

We got about 2 inches of slush/water in the driveway and 4 inches of snow on the cars. Its still snowing pretty good now, not sure how long it is though.
All that water is gonna turn to ice though tonight.

Are your cars in the path of a tree that could fall down? If not, dont worry about it then.

If they Are.. Maybe try moving them to a place where theyre not. Your neighbors might think you are drunk parking in the middle of your lawn or something.. But you could get the last laugh when your cars are alright and theirs have trees going through them.

Thats what I used to do.. We have this big ass tree over our driveway. When they called for ice, I'd move it way out of reach from the tree to grab it. Might sound stupid.. But its worth doing if possible. Just dont get it stuck out in the lawn though either. I learned that the hard way once.

Our power went off sunday and they got it back on last night. Still dont have internet or cable.
I dont think the south was prepared for the 6.5 inches we got. Now its gonna be 78 degrees on sunday.

No trees fell on the car even though it was parked under a pine tree. I couldnt move it is why i was nervous. A tree did fall across the road in front of our house and we had around 10 people get stuck in our driveway trying to turn around.

I feel bad for you northern guys who have to put up with it all winter.
