    Default Injectors on a budget?

Anyone have any suggestions for injectors on a budget?

I currently have 20#ers, and need to upgrade to at LEAST stock, but am very low on cash.
Is there a factory vehicle to get injectors from that would be an upgrade (above the stock 24#).

Would stock LS1 injectors be an upgrade? I saw them listed as 25#, but not sure what psi that is at. I might have a line on a set from an '02 z28.

    Any suggestions?

    www.racetronix.com

Ls1s run at 56-58psi we are 10-12lbs. shy of that.
i run Ls1 injectors in my car since my originals were old i do not think they made any difference in performance but i did notice the car idled smoother.
if you do up the pressure to 58psi, i feel it would important to re-tune your pcm

    if memory serves me correctly
    97-98 Ls1s have 28lb inj.
    99-00 Ls1s have 26s
    01-02 Ls1s have 28s

ls1s are at a higher psi than lt1s. they are rated higher but once the psi is brought down to 42-45 psi they aren't much bigger than ours. how big of ones do you need? what is your current duty cycle? you could run stock 24s and bump up the pressure to bring the duty cycle down.

Tuning is not a concern... I'm stock tuned, and under "injectored"... I started to look into this because I am about to start tuning, and some things stood out in the datalog.

    I Would LIKE to make 400 flywheel... right now, it's just a 355, cc305, 1.6rr, bolt-on motor. Eventually, I'll go ported heads/intake.

My friend with an '02 z28 is in the middle of a total rebuild (6.0 iron block turbo setup), so that is why I asked about LS1 stuff... his stock motor is just sitting there.

1FASTSS - pm me with an price, if you don't mind.
