strongly considering just going crazy, finding a stock formula hood, cutting it, and running a carb style scoop for the laughs.

Funny, I had the same thought about using a scoop, but cringed at the thought of hacking the Ram Air hood. Unfortunately, we put my stock hood out for heavy trash collection day a couple years ago, because nobody wanted it.

Turn the scoop around facing the windshield and take advantage of the high pressure area.
