changed plug wires, still acting up. car seems to be running hotter too but i bled the system very very well and have no air at the bleeders.

i have an extra 4 pack of coils, gonna try that next, running out of ideas. sadly since i didnt just slap a new rotor on the opti, i cannot disconnect the LTCC to test if thats it. that would require an opti swap, which may happen to see whats up. if that doesnt work, car will be parked for remainder of season while i holley swap it

edit, after throwing the whole garage of spare parts at it, i disconnected the ltcc, reinstalled a rotor in the opti, and put the ignition back to stock 94 coil/icm. car fired right off, was not rich as hell, and revved like a chainsaw again. ugh

aint that a fact. a bit upset, because now i cannot just run around and spray at will, have to either keep a nitrous tune up in it all the time, or have a laptop with me all the time to adjust the timing tables.

reading up many people are not having good luck with msd digital 6 plus's anymore, not sure what box to use for timing retard

im getting mad at this thing.....put it back to oem ignition system, still pops randomly back thru the maf on a idle-rev.

put the msd box on, same thing. atleast its consistent.

oh and sitting here idling for about 5 mins the gas gauge went from half full to empty out of nowhere, thats new too lol

Just maybe, you have a broken valve spring causing a valve to hang open sometimes. Probably would be a good idea to do a careful valve spring inspection anyway. This is considering the fact that you've been revving the piss out of it.
