Ur links make my exact point for the pros for the bird shot as the 2nd and alternating rounds.
Slug
Bird
Slug
Bird
Slug.
When she hosts with the slug, odds are that's gonna leave a mark, however if she misses, the bird will allow a much better chance of contact... followed by another slug again...
And unlike ur links, anyone who has been in a gun fight or simulated gunfight can tell you... no matter what u think ur gonna do "I'll just shoot him with the slugs to kill him," it usually doesnt work like that.
Fact of the matter is that most people when confronted by an intruder will likely shoot blindly and without precise aim...

I read all of this prior to my judge purchase. I am not what you would call a good shot, hence the reason I like having more of a spread to my advantage if I had to use it. I get the penetrating thing, but I believe if you were getting shot with it you would definitely be having a bad day.

Well, looks like we are transitioning to 9s, from our 40s. Guess I will soon have another retired service weapon to buy.
