Accessing Front Core Plugs (Freeze Plugs)
Does anyone here have a good sense of what needs to be removed from the engine to access the two front core plugs on each side of the engine? They popped out on my '95 Formula, thanks to my carelessness. I'm not sure if the best access will be from above or below. I want to be able to install the expandable brass/rubber plugs that Dorman sells to at least get the car back together again. I'd like to avoid pulling/dropping the motor or spending hours crawling around on the concrete under jack stands. I'm not as young as I used to be.
I appreciate any guidance from experienced folks. Thank you.

I'm sorry that I posted this in the wrong forum, for non-LTX engines. May I ask a mod to move it for me, please?
