22 mpg 80 Elky
I dropped an Eldebrock 600 CFM carb and a 22 gallon tank in my LT1 powered 80 Elcamino. It has a six speed manual with 3.73 limited slip rear end. It cruises at an RPM of 2150 at 70 mph and can average 380 miles to the tank. City mileage is now 18 mph while highway is 22 mpg. Synonym test and tune coming soon for BHP numbers.

Gotta love the 6 spd man... i remember getting low 20s on the roadtrips to KY from PA. That was with a 602 rwhp boosted 385 and 4.10s, thanks to thats 6spd...

I was amazed a 300+ hp engine could get that kind of mileage at all. No computer.
