Sahara's 99 WS6 "Lt. Dan" Updates
Alright, first off this is not a build by any means. I honestly only plan to drive this car for a few years. It has some cancer issues and I really don't feel like sinking alot of money into the car and everything can be swapped to another car easily. Here's the plan:
Wheels -
-Chrome Y2K C5's - Already picked up a set. I have yet to buy a set of rims for a Fbody and the rear tires be any good...weird.
Brakes -
-Add some Cross Drilled/Slotted to the front, already has them on the rear. This bugs me alot...
-C5 Calipers on the front. Only natural they should be behind the rims I have.
-Powder coated rear calipers.
Suspension -
-Eibach Sportlines w/ new Decarbon's. Not the best but I already have them.
-BMR 21MM Front swaybay w/ poly mounts and links (Already on car since the pic down below was taken)
-Tubular Control arms w/ relo's (Have)
- Adjustable panhard
-stock style tubular TA
Engine -
- ECU Reflash - DONE. The tune that was on it before in the words of Bill @ RPM "The damn thing couldn't throw a code if it didn't have an engine" in short it was F'd.
-Tune-up; and from the rest of the 'Mods" I've found this thing prob has 3 dif types of plugs in it.
Exterior -
-Respray
-Black stripe along ram air like @Blackbird96WS6 .
-CETA (DONE) Looks amazing, it gets a DAYYUM!! every time I pull in the driveway.
-Foglight HID's w/ new housings (bright and asshole'ish but its goes with the LS territory)
Interior -
-Stereo w/ 1 10" sub in a stealth box
-Good cleaning. "She tastes like cigarettes, Lt. Dan". Seriously, it does. I honestly think it was owned by a single stripper from Jersey before me.. @TubbyZ28 can u confirm, check around..lol? I've also found 2 packs of "Wild Cherry" trees and almost a full box of cheerios under the rear seats.
Anyway, it's not much to do and shouldn't take that long to get done and be 100% focused on the Formula again. Obligatory Pics:
Snow finally melted

Something felt alil wonky on the way home...

Getting my tune on...That C6 was amazing.

New Rubbers..
IMG_0752.jpg
New shoes with above rubber bands installed...the Low Trac light stopped coming on for no reason after this.
IMG_0762.jpgIMG_0763.jpg
Why did I wait sooooo long to do this..Now I cant wait to get the other car done.

So the next step for the WS6 has been picked up. The rust is way to far into the car to salvage. So the plan is to swap this 99 V6. Actually picked this up from the guy who bought my bike. I couldn't pass up the great price of free. Guy ended up snapping a ball joint and didn't have the means or mechanical ability to fix it. I picked up a craigslist spindle and a new tie rod end and threw it back together in 15 mins. Even drove it onto the dolly. It needs some body work but the plan was for a 03-04 Cobra front end anyway. But anyway...

I do but someone decided to hit the front end and damaged the bumper and driver fender while i was in the grocery store one night. The hood (clear is gone) and left fender are good. I'll end up pulling the WS6 apart soon after all the paperwork clears and the Formy is on the road.
