Who would like to help out with my shifting issue?
Well I haven't had time for tuning since the last years group drag racing at Great Lakes Dragaway, but now our group is doing another race Next Sunday and I just want to see if anybody could take a look at my bin.file and adjust it.
Last year I ran a 13.1 on DR's on a 90*+ day and sunny. I have been having this on going issue of banging off the rev limiter before the shifting going from 2>3. I haven't even came close to to reducing this issue at the track.
So the rear tire I am running is a 26x11.50-16LT. My transmission is a A4 of course and the stall is a YankSS3600 and it is a 3:23 rear-end.
Thanks in advance.-Josh

So this is what I have, I started with this and subtract 2mph from each and made seperate tunes for a total of -6mph :
1>2-----2>3-------3>4-------2>1------3>2------4>3
36.00---72.00-----118.00----21.00----67.00----112.00
(Hope this works)
The I changed this: To this:
5344.00 >>>>>>>>>> 5500
5440.00 >>>>>>>>>> 5500
5344.00 >>>>>>>>>> 5500
If anyone else has input, please share. I will be showing my results next Sunday.Last edited by Firefighter Z; 07-22-2018 at 12:37 PM.

Just drop rpm a lot earlier then you want and see when t commands a shift vs actually shifts and raise shift rpm back up until you get desired shift rpm. Alot of the times they can shift a few hundred rpm after commanded.

Supporting MemberOh, I figured u had it set HIGHER than 5500. Drop it down to 5000 then watch when it actually shifts on log, or raise your limiter.
if you have it set for 5500 and your rev limit is 6500 and its hitting the limiter, I'd worry about your trans.
