Supporting MemberGot to fix another "detailers" terrible and more expensive job. Brought the paint back to life on this Twin Turbo Mustang GT that's pushing about 910 to the wheels using a single stage correction.

Supporting MemberYea, it was terrible all over. I had to be careful because the last guy removed a lot of the clear. I really dont like working on paint thats under 90 Microns and this was at 93 in some parts when I started. There is still some nasty scratches in some spots like on the curves of the hood that I may try to get next time but it is definitely getting thin.

Supporting MemberEven im impressed with how it came out. I honestly think this is my best work since I opened my business. I am currently working on another ZL1 and should have an alfa giulia quadrifoglio in the next few week. I also picked up a new customer this week that has 7 cars including a 50s caddy, a g8 thats been converted to an ute, and two SS's. Should have some badass pictures coming soon

Supporting MemberI'll try to remember to post something tomorrow after I finish up working on the other zl1. Basically they are like between a really strong sealant and putting on an extra, thin, layer of clear. Its semi permanate lasting 1-4 years, some companies claim more. They are generally harder than paint somewhere between 7 and 9 on the pencil hardness scale. They actually can add thickness to the paint and become an integreated part of the paint. The result is they they are super glossy, less likely to scratch or swirl and are super hydrophobic.
