Dissassembly
Taking apart my 96 formula parts car. Dash is almost ready to remove.
Anyone know if there are any places that the main harness might disassemble at the doors, or at the firewall? Not seeing anyplace that it might come apart to make removal easier. Was hoping to leave the door harnesses attached to the doors, but if not possible, I will remove them the hard way.
Thanks for any advice.

No, the door harnesses are part of the main interior harness. But you can unplug everything inside the door and slide the bundle out the hole in the door jamb. That's what I had to do when I removed and repaired a crack in my door. Took about 10 minutes to get all the wires out and maybe 15 to put them back.

That is what I thought. Was just hoping I was missing something.
Now about the harness through the firewall. Will that connection come apart?

Posting just in case anyone else runs into this.
On the 96, I unplugged everything from the BCM and was able to pull the few conectors through the firewall that connect to the front harness.
The door harness connects to both doors and runs up to the mirror for the map lights. Probably not possible to pull without pulling the dash.
