torqhead on a 93

ok, my opti went out today in my 93 and I am looking at the torqhead 24x system to replace the opti. being a 93 I will have to use a stand alone wiring harness my question is has anyone have any experience wiring in a stand alone wiring harness or know of any tech pages about doing this? what needs to be tied in together, crimped, or cut off? It is just a h/c/I street car and would like to keep all the stock gauges.
