The problem with erratic idle will not turn on the SES light or set a code. Here's a thread where I was able to trace erratic idle to what appeared to be bad data coming from the MSD Opti opticalcam position sensor. This is actually the third MSD I have found with that problem. Tubby Z28's was the second one. Both of those data logs, with my analysis, have been sent to MSD. They are trying to have the third case Opti returned to them so they can do some investigation.
Not saying yours is necessarily the same problem, but if you could run a data log using Scan9495 I will take a look at it.

You all wont beleive this but my buddy told me to tap on the maf and it worked the car is now sitting and idling at 900 rpms what the hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
