10lbs is quite a bit of pressure for a carb, I dont know if any carbs are built so the needle and seat can work with that pressure, but a regular 650 DP wont..

Not sarcasm. You confirmed the only issue I seen with running the stock return line with a low pressure setup. If someone has done it successfully already, run it
