This is a T/A with the American Racing 17x11 45mm offset wheels in the back:

To me it looks like the edge of the tire is outside the fender slightly. Not all that bad.
Now, if you want something really wild, check out these 19x13's with 355 tires...... yes, mini-tub.

In photos below.... yes rear wheel gap is huge. It's set up to clear 28" slicks, with Eibach Drag Launch springs that sit about 1/2" higher than stock.Last edited by Injuneer; 08-12-2016 at 11:39 AM.

There's a couple of pictures in this folder of SCCA racing.

Kelly owned a the ProjectTransAm bulletin board "back in the day". Had a lot of excellent tech info and how-to info. But he got tired of it and just shut it down. I was an Admin, and it took me by surprise.SOLD - GONE TO A (VERY) GOOD HOME ! - 94 Formula A3+1: 381ci forged stroker - Callies Stealth, Oliver 5.85 billet rods, BME nitrous pistons / CNC LT4 heads / CC solid roller / TH400+GearVendors OD / 4.11 Strange 12-bolt / 300-shot N2O / Spohn Suspension / roll bar / MoTeC M48 Pro engine management system /a few other odds 'n ends.
