[QUOTE=Fastbird;466453]As for the timing question........ The car wants what it wants.
Thats what I always tell people, dont go by what Joe so did, give the motor what it wants but as said, on the high end, take your time, give it a little boost and timing at a time, and stop to check your plugs. Dont do back to back runs, give the motor some cool down time...

Thanks for all the input! I've been running supercharged cars (LT1's) for a very long time, but I'm in a small area and there's not many tuners' that even deal with LT1's anymore. I stayed very conservative on timing on the turbo car, sometimes in the 12 deg at higher boost levels thinking I was lowering the risk. I would assume there's three major factors on boosted cars: fuel, timing and heat. I ran more timing with my ProCharged car, but it was also at lower boost levels. They previous owner of the turbo car was not dialed in on the tune, but he was running mid to upper 20 degs at full boost. I'm just trying to get a feel for other boosted LT1 's timing tables, probably just to boost my confidence in that it's going to be ok to run timing in the 20deg or so range. I'm going to start out conservative as usual and then work the timing in a little at a time. Any input on A/F ratio for the boosted cars? I know every wideband is a bit different in calibration, but where do most of you target?
Thanks,
