Seems we've got a lot of mechanically inclined types here, some true mechanics even. It was discussed among the admins about adding a tool talk sub forum.

This is for showing off what you've got, your tool boxes, etc, as well as getting info for what works and what doesn't, custom one-off tools, etc. Hopefully everyone will find this to be a helpful section.

I like it, I did something along these lines for my techs and techs from other locations in the company to share knowledge back and forth as a time and labor saver.
Something like "Hey this is what I did on this new piece of equipment and it saved me 3 hours time".
I found that even though it took some time for the guys to get used to it they did start sharing their knowledge and also looking for ways to do things faster and correctly.
No reason it cant work here and I for one would love to see a few shortcuts ect.
