    MSD 6A box has been on for 17 years now. When I did the 383 back in 2005 I replaced the C&R on the then 37k mi AC Delco Opti. Didn't desperately need a new C&R but I put one one. Now 11 years later and 55k more miles, still no problems........YMMV
