I have 2.67" studs with that combo. Lingenfelter and GMPP used to sell them - maybe they still do. One problem is they have about a 1/2" of unthreaded length on the end. The thread engagement has just barely the 12mm length (one stud diameter) required by NHRA, within the hex portion of the nut. NHRA gives no credit for the thread engagement in the shank.
Other problem is the unthreaded length sticks out way too far to use closed-end lug nuts when running street Whhels.SOLD - GONE TO A (VERY) GOOD HOME ! - 94 Formula A3+1: 381ci forged stroker - Callies Stealth, Oliver 5.85 billet rods, BME nitrous pistons / CNC LT4 heads / CC solid roller / TH400+GearVendors OD / 4.11 Strange 12-bolt / 300-shot N2O / Spohn Suspension / roll bar / MoTeC M48 Pro engine management system /a few other odds 'n ends.

And at the track, rules say you must used open-end lugs, correct? Does ARP make anything that would work? Last I knew, I'm using 1/2-3" studs on the rear, so far so good.

Yes, must have open end lugs.
Moroso makes a 3.25" in 12mm x 1.5, 0.509" knurl. I couldn't find anything at Lingenfelter or GMPP. I bought mine 14 years ago.
That should be about the same length as the ones I use, the only difference is mine are only 2.67" thread, plus 0.58" unthreaded = 3.25" total. The Moroso are threaded for the full 3.25".
This is the way mine look in the front:
If you think about it, if you have 3" long studs in the back, without a spacer, a 3.25" stud will be just about the same on the front with added 0.31" of the spacer. I also run screw-in 1/2-20 x 3.00" in the back.Last edited by Injuneer; 05-15-2016 at 05:15 PM.
