Nitrous lt1 intake
Has someone here plumbed a intake for a fogger setup I have 2 extra intakes and I'm also looking for one pre plumbed in case some one doesn't know how to plumb one

Drilling and tapping the intake wasnt to bad on a mill. NOS threads are a crazy 1/16 pipe thread that can be bought from summit. Ididnt really like the way the nozzels sit a little in front of the injector but it doesnt seem to effect it. As far as the plumbing I had probably 8 hours or so in it. It is a pain to change jets, takes about 45 minutes.

the nozzels go in parallel to the intake runner, therefore they wont be 90 degrees to the injecter boss. The mill was most handy to mill a flat so the drill would start strait and not tryto walk down the intake. Once you look at it some you will see what I mean

You could always just use a drill press and a sine plate. A 3 axis mill is essentially a drill press with a moveable table and a head you can angle.

@waltsfastz any advice I just read your write up and all. All I can say is that's super impressive being able to mill your own stuff and modify your heads and intake is amazing, so for someone who doesn't know shit about modifying a intake lol any words of wisdom.

I didnt do anything to the heads nor port the intake, It was done by TEA Years ago when Brian tooley were still in Kentucky
But on the drilling/tapping for the nozzles Try to get low as possible on the injector boss so the nozzles wont interfere with the injector, However high enough you can still access The Nozzle. You can measure and find pretty close tot he center of the boss where to drill the hole. Like said before I milled out a small flat so the bit wouldnt walk down. Get your nozzle and get an idea how far you need to tap in the hole, then I put a piece of tape around the tap and only ran it in that far. This way all your nozzles will be threaded in about the same. after that it is a matter of cutting,bending and flaring tubing. Be sure that you use a 37 degree flaring tool. Performance tool has one for around $24 and it works"OK"

Most taps have an angled point on the backside of them and if you have access to a drill or arbor press you can press a spot drill or center drill against the rear of them to align them with the drilled hole.
Npt taps have to go to a specific depth since they are tapered. The information is easily found online if you know the tap size.

Also aluminium is very easy to tap with a standard cutting tap. Just make sure you use plenty of oil and constantly work it back and forth to break the chips. Never force the tap.
