    Default 5/8 or 3/4 oil pump

    went to autozone and there was a few options on the oil pumps ... and i didnt know what to go with ... can i get some help here?
    there was stuff that was was 5/8" and some was 3/4" ...what do i do?

    5/8 = stock until '94, 3/4 = stock '94+ and aftermarket

    I think in the melling the 5/8 is a m55, the 3/4 is a m155 and the High volume is a M55HV. I now this is useless on the topic.

    so if i am buying a new pump and pickup tube with screen .... all of it new ... does it really matter?
