    Using stock gears will be OK with that cam, but a stall is more mandatory. Using a stock converter with gears the car will pull though the brakes be more contakerous daily driving.

    I use a revmax 3600 with a cc503 and its a lot of fun(shit ton) on the street. Its almost too big for the cam. You could use a smaller stall but mine drives like stock until you gas it.


    For a budget build its not worth spending coin on anything too expensive. Or anything else in my opinion.
    Several members LOVE their cheap converters.
    This isn't meant to be a pissing match about converters that some people turn it into. Just giving an alternative viable proven option.

    I'd do headers cam rockers + springs and gears. Since you're auto the rear should live for a while. Then get some drag radials, better converter and save for a built trans
