You guys are so young, this thread makes me laugh, When I graduated high school cars still had carburetors, the Hot ticket back then was the 78 AMX, was the quickest factory ride available. Man the smog years sucked.

Having a mildly modded 9c1 caprice in high school, the car was almost untouchable besides the new ls1s and on par with f-body lt1s it would out handle and accelerate 99% of other cars on the road. It handled well for its time. Now they are old and slow poor handling cars. That I rarely see. Honda accords are faster now lol.

Its amazing to see the full bodied cars being such performers how far tech and innovation has come.
