brake and PS fluid leaking out of reservoirs on high-G turns
Car is a '95 formula with a relatively high mileage, basically stock motor (200K kms). I've autocrossed it a few times recently when my regular ride was down and noticed both brake fluid and power steering fluid leaking of their reservoir caps after each run. The car has some BMR and Strano stuff and am running on R888's so it turns well enough to generate decent G's. Are the seals just gone on the reservoir caps or should I expect this based on their design (are they vented or something)? The PS fluid was hot enough to make the pump whine after each lap so it's possible it was boiling but the brakes felt fine.
I may have to invest in some of those reservoir "socks" that wick up leaking fluid if it's not a cap issue

My brake resivoir cap weeps a little so I cut a strip out of a black rag and tied around the resivoir neck under the cap to catch any leakage. The dark color blends in with the cap and you don't even know it's there. I suppose you could try a new diaphragm from the dealer if it's available.

My power steering leaks out when I take a sharp ass turn and kick the rear wheels out.

Thanks for the info. I'll probably try wrapping something around the neck of the reservoir to keep the fluid from going everywhere.
