Headroom in caged camaro
Anyone have horrable headroom? Iv got about maybe 2 inches between my head and bar on the side and maybe 5 in the front. I cant adjust the seat anymore or else i cant touch the pedals or even be somewhat comfortable. Its tucked as close as i could get it to the center console also.uploadfromtaptalk1442624070730.jpguploadfromtaptalk1442624082921.jpguploadfromtaptalk1442624116521.jpg

Drop down the seat on custom brackets, a strict tech inspector should by all means fail that.

you talking about lower to the floor? Im in no way doubting you, Im just curious.(as far as tech)
I have mine sitting almost on the floor and kisked back to where the top of my seat is in line with the edge of the hoop. Im 6'3 and it isn't that bad. I have the narrow Kirkeys and they aren't that comfortable. However buy some SFI approved padding. It does loose some room but it may save a headache.

Ya sorry, I messed up on max/min requirement. Disregard my ramblings.
"All roll bars must be within six inches of the rear, or side, of the driver’s head, extend in height at least three inches above the driver’s helmet with driver in normal driving position or be within one inch of the roof/headliner in the area above the driver’s helmet, and be at least as wide as the driver’s shoulders or within one inch of the driver’s door.”
Confusing as hell the way they wrote that.Last edited by shownomercy; 09-18-2015 at 08:47 PM.

Oh yea padding is a must. Wana know what i think has alot to do with this.... the way my car is sitting with no motor or trans... the nose is pointed up so thats gota be throwing me off mounting the seat. Cus im making it comfortable for me when the car is at the wrong angle.
