Default 80e Vent tube breather tank

My guess is it was too full before TS, got hot as hell, puked itself low, then started to aerate and spew more out the vent.

I want to have some safety net from when it is hot and I am pushing it hard. Obviously I will get the level fixed but cleaning the underside of my car gets old.

Oh ok. I would be worried about having too much restriction on the vent line. Could blow out seals. Maybe you could plumb it in a way that would still allow it to vent should the catch can not receive excess oil fast enough.

I believe he is implying the pressure head created by a few feet of hose on the breather may be detrimental

Maybe? I'm not sure at what rate it's puking. I guess a -8 hose would ensure it moves freely into the catch can without much resistance on the vent line.
