    As I was changing the ignition coil, I noticed one of the connectors on the front of the coil was basically not even connected. I connected it and it started right up. It sounded smooth and strong.

    This may not be related to the high RPM misfire I originally had. It might have to do with the stalling issue. I'm going to take it for a drive tonight to see how it behaves. In a perfect world, the car will scream down the highway, we'll see.

    I am so close to having the car running perfectly!

    I took the car for a run around the block tonight. There is no more stalling or high RPM stuttering.

    I believe the stalling was caused by a loose connection to the coil, and the clogged fuel filter caused the high RPM stutter

    Here's what it sounds like now.



    Notice the hesitation when I punch it at idle? I made a post a few years ago about this issue, and I never did get around to checking for vacuum leaks. I'll check for vacuum leaks. I don't think the emissions delete was done correctly when I put headers on it years ago.
