Have you checked the harness side of the maf? That could cause an issue regardless of swapping the maf if the wires are broken inside the jacket. Also check your fuel pressure too just to be sure. High rpm and under load could easily be a fuel issue as well.

I checked it over pretty good this weekend and while idling i was trying to unplug the MAF and when i wiggled the wires the car shut off completely. I restarted it and got it to do it again. after that i tried to get it to do it again while i was looking at more wire and i couldnt get it to do it again. My friend has a parts car with a good MAF connector so i done some cutting and splicing and it seems like it helped out then i checked my plug wires one at a time while idling and i found one that didnt really change anything when i unplugged it. Getting a whole new set of plugs and wires this Friday and hopefully that will fix it. Got me a set of shorty headers from a friend over the weekend as well. Anybody got any pros/cons on shorties?

There aren't many pros to shorties really, but they are much better than the stock manifolds. I had some BBK shorties on my last car. They had pretty horrible plug access and were kind of difficult to install on the passenger side, but I got them for super cheap so it was worth it.

I'm on the process of removing mine because the driver side has a crack in it. I have OTVC wires with #5 routing the stock location.
They are great, but I'm now installing LTs.

Make sure all plug.wires are in the correct spot on ye ol opti
