    there is about 3 in between the opening and the metal bumper. I figure if I leave about a half inch that should be decent flow/ clearance

    U honestly get more flow thru the bottom unless u have a reason to cut the front. I saw no increases cutting out my z28 bumper and steel bumper in coolant temp and iat temp with a over the rad intake as compared to just over the rad sucking in front of radiator. If you had an intercooler, or literally ducted it to the intake, then I can see it helping

    Thats the plan, I am going to combine both into a duct to the intake
