Default lt1 power steering pulley balancing

Hey guys I recently took off my power sterring pulley in order to get to a dropped bolt and when I put it back on it was wobbly and not straight when running. how do I go about get it balanced again? I heard if you tighten it while the belt is against it that it'll straighten out. Is this true? Or is there any other things to try?

It sounds like the pulley is not all the way on. When you installed the pulley back on did you use a pulley installer for the power steering pump.

Take a straight edge from the nearest pulley and make sure the the pulley is seated all the way on the power steering pump shaft.
If the pump is run without the pulley wobbling it with take the main shaft bearing out and ruin the pump.
    Hope this helps.
