    Default tuning vats out

Hey guys I just had a quick question. I am getting a t56 swap done and I sent my pcm to solomon Over at lt1pcmtuning.com and he asked if I wanted vats tuned out and I asked him what it was and I don't know if he tuned it out or not. Now that I know what vats is (kinda) if he does disable it will it do anything bad? Like cause it to not start? Or run?

That stupid lil chip in ur keybis a resistor. After a while it or ur ugnition will wear and the car wont start. Many solder in a resistor to bypass it... but tuning it out is easier.

@popo8 haha I'll see if he did it or not. I was afraid I would have to do alot of things after it was tuned out to make the car run

The only thing that can be tuned out in the PCM is the requirement for the fuel enable signal from the BCM. The BCM (or TDM) still controls the starter circuit.
