windshield prices
just what the title says. I have called 2 places on prices on an installed windshield for my 97ss. holy cow I never thought they would be so much. the cheaper place was $320.00 with me taking the car to them! so what I am wondering is if this seems right to you guys or should I keep looking?

Had one done in my vette 2 years ago. 250.00 and that guy was a friend (he told me the vette windshield was more expensive)
He also came to the car.

Look around and get more quotes. Should be under 300 for sure. The most I ever paid for one was $240 installed.

You know what... i see he is located in PA. After the hail storms the other day... THAT may be the reason for the price bump.

i just got mine done for 200 and gave him a 30 buck tip for doing a good job. and thats him taking it out and installed with new molding. but look around thats high. go to a macro and ask them. ( they dont do it they subcontract it out) and that will prob be the cheapest place to do it.

I ran into the same thing. My windshield is not broken, but it is all wavy. I assume it is a cheap one that the prev owner had installed.
