Question about heads
is the TFS 195's any better that LE1's? have a deal from a friend to get the assembled TFS heads and 1.6 rr's kit for 1150 just wanted to know if i should just get my stockers ported by LE or make this deal happen please and info or tips is greatly appreciated.

I would buy the trick flows and send them to lloyd for port work.

Depends on what you're trying to accomplish. Heads are pretty close flow wise.
The TFS heads have bigger chambers. If you're not trying to lower comp for forced induction or building a stroker then it's a step in the wrong direction.
The thicker deck of the TFS heads is good for nitrous/FI, valves are bigger (but heavier), and the casting is more capable in the long run.Last edited by Catmaigne; 02-15-2015 at 01:48 AM.

For purposes involving boost as a primary factor the AFRs are a good choice.
For any other purpose a set of AI 190s or 200s or LE2s/LE3s are quite a bit better dollar for dollar.Cayenne Red Metallic 1997 Z28 M6
