    There was a guy on FB recently who basically stole an entire 24x kit for around $500. Deals are out there to soften the blow, just have to find them. I have about $950 into my setup. Got a promotional deal through BP a few years back. New coils, pcm, harness, EFI kit, etc.

    I think I have a little over $700 in my whole setup with double roller chain and that includes everything (sensors, reluctor, coils, coil brackets, billet timing cover, plug wires, pigtails, etc) but it was only possible bc of the single plane dizzy hole. The timing cover and 24x wheel were 2/3 of the total cost. Would have been half as much if I went single roller but the spring pressures and heavy valvetrain made me uncomfortable with that.

    Dizzy = Distributor

    I will be running a converted SBC single plane intake with a gutted vortec distributor for cam signal. Any money saved on the 24x setup got dumped into the intake but I don't mind because horsepower.

    The big f'n hammer mod? When you pound the crap out of your inner fenderwells to fit a fatter tire like a 315.
