Front End Wobble
Seems like I have a front end wobble while driving at either low cruising speed (<15mph) or decent highway speed (>65mph).
I have 3.5" Prostars on the front and before I tore into it, was wondering what the likelihood it's something besides a bent wheel, and also what else to look for.
Thanks in advance.

Wheel bearing, tire rod end, ball joints, warped rotor. Do you have a another set of wheels to check to see how it rides without the Prostars. A member here had horrible experience with Weld on her GTO and getting a straight set of wheels.

Well the car didn't always have the front end wobble and prostars have been on the car for years (over 5 IIRC). My first thought was to swap the fronts but figured I'd look at other things while it's on jackstands. Truth is the car sit for around two years with a blown motor then over the last year have been fixing it back up. I don't recall it having the issue before but it has been so long it's hard to remember. Figured maybe there are some common ailments caused by letting a car sit that long.
Thanks for the advice.Last edited by myltwon; 01-16-2015 at 08:17 PM.

Can you define wobble? Side to side motion, bouncing up/down in the front end, steering play? My first thought is wheel balance or a bad tire, since you said it's been sitting. If you let it sit on the tires, they could have flat spots.

The wobble is side to side, almost like driving over a brick road feeling. I will say most of the time it sat, the tires were elevated off the ground. The front end alignment is off as well, though I believe this condition existed well before the front end wobble.

Also... over inflate the tires for a little and see if it smooths out (in case of flat spots).

I'll look into getting a balance, thanks for the advice.
Also fronts are inflated to max psi already.
