My new ride
Found this on craigslist. Guy selling it for parts. Car needs a 4l60e, radio antenna and wiper motor thats it.
Two owner 100k, but looking at the car inside and out you would think it has 30k on it. Car is bone stock. Got it for a steal of a price. I am going to fix it and drive it since I put my trans am away for the winter.
Any idea what the true value of this car is. Its has leather, 6 disc changer in the trunk.Last edited by willismoons; 11-02-2014 at 08:37 PM.

Id say if u do the trans, antena and wipers... its a 5k car if everything else is what u say it is. The think about these cars is that book value does not matter. They are worth as much as the buyer is willing to spend for it.
Do u want to share with us...what u got it for? If not thats ok...
Btw... my 94ta GT with 180k on it and slipping trans was $800.00. . Needed a headliner. ..transmission... and some odds and ends paint... small section of floor needing rust repair and front LCAs (And recently an opti lol).
Im into it with car purchase over 5k and no regrets... (I have been slacking and send it out for work).

I paid 1200. I thought it was well worth it considering the shape of the car. I have been around these cars for a long time. I am shocked at the shape its in. If the odo said 30k I would believe it. I figured around 5k was what the book value would be. I am hoping to drive it for a few months then get some sort of return on it.
I think thats awesome that you saved your car. Too many of them being parted out these days. I am guilty of it as well. Do you plan on keeping it forever?

For as nice as u are saying it is... that sounds like a great deal.
I would love to have a fleet of ltxs one day... im a die hard... the only one I can come close to a guarantee that it will stay forever is the camaro...
The TA could go at anytime for the right money.
The vette has big plans coming up... but since its for sale now...it could go before the big plans happen if the right offer is made...
Id still like an impalla ss as well.

They have such a bad reputation. I think there is alot to be said about a clean ltx car.
