Default Ls1 lid vs LT1 Trans Am ram air induction

I just did an LS1 front end conversion on my T/A. I have the LT1 T/A ram Air induction already on my car. Would it be worth switching to the LS1 lid or should I stay with the set up I already have? Reason for asking is if I go with the lid I'd like to get the fast toys ram air mod but before I spend the money on the LS1 lid and FTRA combo I was wondering if there would be any expected gains from the switch since the LT1 T/A ram air is close already to functionality to the LS1's.

Kinda, my air box takes up half the opening from the hoods intake ports. If you look through the nostrils you can see the air filter as it sits on top of the air box.

So with that said I know direct air flow is hitting my air filter, but what my concern is is that's not enough and the result is my air box is having to scavage hot air from the engine bay.

Are you using the WS6 lid base? I really don't think you'd see anything noticeable between the LS1 and LT1 WS6 setups. FWIW, some of the LS1 guys like to run the LT1 intake on their cars.

Spartan, no I'm using the just the lt1 Induction. I've heard the camaro LT1 guys gaining from converting to the LS1 lid set up. I don't see how I really could gain much going from my LT1 WS6 intake to the lid but input from the LTX community here is helpful.

from my research, it seems like the ls lid setup with a chris1313 scoop is the best flowing setup.

I had both, WS6 Ram Air Box and then converted to a lid. The Lid I went with was the FTP 104MM, did this when the car was still heads and cam. Driving around it felt better with the LS1 Lid set up, throttle response was a lot better. I don't think a dyno would show you any difference since the hood would be up.
