    Default Hydro Sand Blaster

So we needed to strip the trans am and the paint was being a huge pain with just trying to 60/80 grit DA sand it. I went online and Google'd DIY pressure washer sand blaster. I bought the one listed on Amazon and I have a 3000PSI 5 GPM pressure washer. The blaster nozzle with hose was ~$80, the grit was ~$125. We used a mix of crushed glass and coal slag. We set a tarp up on the ground and went to town. We did 1 fender to try and it didn't get all the paint off but it got enough to make it much easier to sand. We need to sand it anyway. So we pushed the body out. The body is just the cabin with no doors, front clip, hood or hatch. I needed to do under the hood and sanding it was going to be a huge pain. We used about 80 lbs of grt and have 45 left to finish the other fender, the doors and the hood. We will have to strip/sand the hatch by hand cause of the glass. Ill post pictures later of the rig and the results. Overall it was very effective, a little messy, but no dust, and no warping. There was some light flash rust, but there is some sanding we still need to do.
