    Default Valve adjustment

    What is the prefered way to adjust valves with full rollers

    I did the same sequence as normal rockers. Go to Shbox and get the write up for which valves at #1 TDC and #6 TDC. Spin the poly-lock with your fingers to zero lash. No up and down movement on the pushrod and can just spin the pushrod with a little friction. Then 1/2 turn more of the poly-lock and set the set screw inside.

    Ive done it that way and with it running but everyone I talk to local says thats to tight for roller cam. My cam just doesnt sound like it hits as hard as it use to

    Are you running a hydraulic roller or solid roller? I've heard people run 1/4 to 1/2 turn...I've always done 1/2 turn with great results.

    Adjustment may be different depending on the lifters you use my comp 875 require no more than 1/8 turn
    forged 383,9.6:1,280xfi, trickflow heads,edlebrock lt4 intake,moser 12 bolt w/373

    I did both cars this way. Worked perfectly
