I have the GM (which I heard were crane) 1.6 Rockers when I purchased the Hot Cam Kit way back in the day, They have been in the N/A motor, 525 lift, supercharged setup with 615 lift and now in my turbo motor. So far they look fine, I did replace all of the retainers and locks with each new spring setup. Maybe just lucky..

i think i said in the original post there was a recall on them for the ones they were putting on lt4 corvettes and also some of the aftermarket batch. this was back in the 90's. to be honest, i have no idea how old my rockers are. no worries now though, just wanted to show people what could happen to them.

i had them with my 306 cam, and 600 lift cam and was chasing down a miss for ever. never did find it but i did find some marks on the rocker arms showing they were hitting the nut. later found out that they are only good till 575 or so lift.
